Do you know that the most expensive pizza costs $12,000! Pizza is the most popular fast food in the world. More than 5 billion pizzas are sold all over the world every year, and approximately 350 slices of pizzas are eaten each second. Do you know the history of this popular fast food – PIZZA?
Let’s begin from the start of pizzas which was like 7,000 years ago. Pizza is similar to many flatbreads all over the world like ‘Naan’, the German ‘Zwiebelkuchen’, etc… Archeologists from around the world have discovered a flat bread in Sardinia which was similar to Pizza and is 7,000 years old. In the 16th century, a Galette flatbread was referred to as Pizza. It was known as a dish for poor people and was a street food. In 1883, a Neapolitan pizza maker – Raffaele Esposisto created the ‘Pizza Margherita’ which is a pizza garnished with tomatoes, mozzarella and basil which represent the colours of the national flag of Italy. From then, Pizza evolved from what it was to what it is now. Now let us find out best places to eat Pizza around the world.

The third top restaurant around the world to eat is La Gatta Mangiona in Rome. The chefs here are quite enthusiastic and experiment with different things and they taste very nice.
Pizza is my favorite dish in all the fast foods. I like the crust of the pizza a lot. The toppings on the pizza are of vital importance for the taste of the pizza. I love olives and paneer as toppings on my pizza. I love a pizza with medium cheese.
In conclusion, Pizza is a very popular and a very tasty dish. I am very happy Pizza was created.
