Hues of Nature

Written By Saanvi Kothari

I still remember the time when I went to a really beautiful tulip garden in Kashmir and was so fascinated by the beauty of the colourful tulips, red, yellow, blue, pink, and orange flowers just scattered through the field. It was a great sight. There are so many colours in nature—not only colours, but so many shades too! A different shade for grass and a different shade for leaves. I still can’t stop thinking about who created all of this. The colours we have would not exist if not for the source nature. yellow flowers, green leaves, grey rocks, and brown soil. Nature covers it all. Colour is so much more than just meeting. I think colour gives a whole new perspective of things.

Every part of nature inspires us in one way or another. It has been said that natural elements like plants, natural light, and earthy colours reduce stress levels and promote a sense of calmness. The colours of nature inspire us to increase our creativity. But it’s not just me that gets inspired by the colours of nature. A lot of brands all around the world get inspired by nature too. I’m pretty sure we have all heard about brands like Faber Castle, Doms, or Crayola. All of these brands have been inspired by the colours of nature and recreated them into colour pencils and crayons to make paintings or drawings.

Now, can you imagine a world without any colour? No bright sunsets, no blue ocean waves. Everything is just black and white. How boring would life be? No new colours to explore; everything would be so ordinary. I certainly wouldn’t want to live a life like that. Would you?
