As you all know that there are many countries in the world and India is one of them. India is located in the South of Asia. India’s name is originated from the Indus River. India’s flag has 3 colours – saffron, white and green. There is a circle between the Indian flag which is called Ashok Chakra. It has 24 lines which show progress throughout the 24 hours of the day. In the Indian flag, every colour has a meaning. Saffron means sacrifice, white means peace and green means prosperity. India got freedom on 15 August 1947 from the British. Gandhi Ji was one of the greatest freedom fighters of India. Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was the 1st Prime minister of India and Dr Rajendra Prasad was the 1st President of India. New Delhi is the capital of India. India has 29 states and 8 union territories.
India’s shares boundaries with Nepal, Bhutan, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Myanmar. India’s current Prime minister is Narendra Modi Ji and the current President of India is Ram Nath Kovind Ji. India’s Republic Day is celebrated on 26th January 1950. India is the 7th largest country by land area in the world. It is the 2nd populous country in the world. The largest statue in the world, Statue of Unity is in Gujarat, India. It’s a proud thing that the largest statue in the world in India. The world’s 4th richest man, Mukesh Ambani is also in India only. I hope you have learnt a lot about India.

Qutub Minar, and the seven rivers of the sea, the population and the various spices are the most popular ones. the population of India is 1.3 billion. The Shampoo, Oil and Buttons were originated in India. We also thank our soldiers and our freedom fighters who freed us from Britishers.
Very true…I completely agree with you. Though India is not as developed as some other countries but still it has been always on the 1st position in terms of heritage and culture. I love my India! JAI HIND!
