You saw me at my worst
but didn’t wipe my tears
instead made me realise that nothing is
gonna change if I keep crying.
You saw me when I was truly happy
but didn’t speak up
instead my reflection on you gave me motivation
to continue being happy.
You saw me when I was insecure
about my flaws but you didn’t give me
a pep talk instead made me accept
myself.
You look through my insecurities.
You look through me raw.
You look at all of my situations in life.
You look at the real me.
You are my best friend.
