In shadows of the past, I feel so lost,
Was once a happy kid, now all tossed.
Circumstances cruel, changed my way,
To someone I don’t want, can’t even say.
I wanted to be perfect, I fell, I failed,
I Tried so hard, but still life derailed.
Recalling Nights all alone I used to cry,
Burying my face and tears silently dry.
Nobody can hear just noises in my head,
Nobody to hug except these pillows on bed.
I feel that someone else is deep inside me,
A shadow from the past that nobody can see.
Memories haunt, each sting cuts deep,
I’m the one left with suffering to keep.
Regret fills my heart with a heavy load,
Lost in a past that I can’t even decode.
In silence, I can scream the pain inside,
In silence, I’m sad just trying to hide.
In silence, I can feel the pain untold,
In silence, I can cry my tears unfold.
